Quattro esplosive ragazze per una band piena di energia che ha conquistato
tutta la scena musicale di Detroit.
Il loro garage al femminile attraversa svariati stili musicali e barriere generazionali,
e sicuramente è seducente, almeno quanto loro!

Le Gore Gore Girls sono una garage rock band nata Detroit , Michigan, nel 1997.
Il loro primo singolo “Mama in the Movies” guadagnò un notevole successo nelle
stazioni radio dei college del Michigan, e permette alle ragazze di registrare
il primo full-album Strange Girls.

Le ragazze riescono a dare un vero scossone alla vita assopita della loro città:
diventano un'importante presenza nel famoso programma radio di
Steve Van Zandt, che permise loro di esibirsi al fianco di band
come The Stooges, The New York Dolls e The Pretty Things
al festival garage di Steven Van Zadt che si tenne a New York.

La band registrerà nel 2004 l'EP 7x4 , seguito poi nel 2007
dell' album Get the Gore sotto Bloodshot Records.

L'aspetto delle ragazze le ha sicuramente avvantaggiate,
ma basta il primo accordo di chitarra a far capire agli spettatori
che non sono solo sexy, ma anche vere musiciste,
pronte a far sudare e cantare la platea insieme a loro!
